Retrain your brain.

NEUROFEEDBACK

Neurofeedback (NFB) also known as EEG biofeedback, is an intervention used to retrain your brain and central nervous system to function more optimally. With nearly a century of scientific support, NFB works to rewire the way the brain processes and responds to information.

NFB is used to treat symptoms such as anxiety, depression, insomnia, ADD/ADHD, OCD, addiction, anger issues, headaches/migraines, and traumatic brain injuries.

As a stand alone service or as a part of an integrated therapeutic approach, A QEEG Brain Map and brain training is a non-intrusive way to improve overall brain functioning.

Quantitative EEG (QEEG) is a way to analyze and assess various brain waves functionality as well as how brain waves in one portion of the brain relate to brain waves in other parts of the brain. A QEEG Brain Map gives objective feedback and allows for pinpointing certain challenges and more effective treatment. QEEG is also effective in determining helpful supplements and medication appropriate for presenting issues.

Neurofeedback as an Adjunct Service

As an additional service to psychotherapy, Resilience Source offers Functional Neurofeedback as a means to identify areas of the brain with abnormal rates of firing, and to train those areas to fire at normal speeds. As a result, individuals will benefit from new or strengthened neural-pathways that lead to a healthier self. Referring your clients to participate in neurofeedback supports clients by regulating the nervous system, enhancing emotional stability and focus, and strengthening the brain’s resilience to stress, burnout, and trauma.

As a support to the work you do with your clients, therapists are able to join the call with Dr. Vanessa Snyder going over the results of the QEEG Brain Map (with client consent). This offers a wealth of information to the client, but also to you and can be supportive in treatment planning for your clients.
